Description

In this week’s GENTLE YOGA FOR VITALITY class, we focus on developing STRENGTH & STABILITY FOR THE LOW BACK, SACRUM, & HIPS.  This is an integrated practice for the musculature and structure of our lower spine and pelvic girdle that uses asanas (postures and movement), breath, and sound to develop core stability, to increase strength and endurance, to support the spine, and to improve alignment.

This practice is suitable for all levels of students and will include standing, seated, and mat poses. Beginners are welcome.

If this is your first time attending Gentle Yoga for Vitality, you will need to complete a health form before class.

Our classes are held at The United Church of Tallahassee, 1834 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32308.

Each student is responsible for bringing the following:

  • a yoga mat or blanket to lie on,
  • a blanket or pillow for your head, and
  • a bolster, or extra pillow or rolled-up towel or blanket for the closing relaxation, and
  • any additional props that would maximize your comfort and safety during the practice.
